How to Turn a Cargo Van Into Your Home in One Hundred Thousand Easy Steps : )
Here is a pictorial guide of my van conversion, starting in August 2019 and ending.... hmmm, I'll get back to you on that...
Now we have to make the walls into... well, walls.
First, the furring strips (to attach the future paneling), get bolted to the van's ribs. Then the insulation gets glued on. That's sheep wool, soft, natural, insect-repellant. Good stuff!!!

One wall done...
And another...
Then the doors...
And then the paneling starts to go up.

And up...

And across...
And up some more...
And look at those storage boxes taking shape!
So let me tell you about that paneling... I spent countless hours making templates of each wall section, cutting it, sanding the edges, screwing it into place, making sure the wood grain was lovely. And now, as you'll see in the future pictures, you can't even see the damn stuff! Oh, the things we learn to do differently next time. There's about 8 days of work in so far, and we're still a long ways from being road-ready : (
